Honiton Library teams up with the Dogs Trust to teach children how to stay safe with dogs

Honiton Library will be welcoming the Dogs Trust to story time – to teach children how to stay safe with dogs.
Doggy Tales will be staged in the library at 10.30am on August 27.
Stacey Prosser, the Dogs Trust’s Education and Community Officer, will lead the event.
As well as stories about dogs, there will be a mini Be Dog Smart workshop.
During the event, which will run for an hour until 11.30am, there will be a chance for children to participate in Honiton Library’s free summer competition.
Prizes include a Dogs Trust t-shirt.
Staff at the library say booking for this event is essential and that free tickets are available now.
