Honiton Post Office marks milestone

It has been a time of celebration at Honiton Post Office as staff and customers mark an important milestone.

Three years ago the post office moved from its purpose-built building to the other side of the road in High Street. It has been located in WHSmith ever since.

More than 400 people had signed a petition to keep a post office counter running in the town.

Marking the third anniversary, staff handed out free orange juice to appreciative customers, and balloons and banners ensured everyone was aware of the sense of occasion.
