With the countdown to Honiton Show in its final days, now is the time to plan your day.
A full site map is available online, to help you decide where you want to be and when.
The highlight of the local social and business calendar, Honiton Show usually attracts around 20,000 visitors, so planning your day in advance has a lot of advantages.
Discover where on the showground you will find everything from vintage tractors to donkey rides.
The showground map illustrates exactly where the event’s nine main rings are, including the Underdown Ring, jump practice ring and exercise ring. Check out where the livestock competitions are taking place and easily find your way to the bar.
Honiton Show only takes place once a year, so it pays to plan ahead if you don’t want to miss a thing and really make the most of it.
The food hall, for example, is in Avenue E, next door to the vintage tractors.
Also clearly marked on the site map is the area being set aside for an exemption dog show and the customary West of England Hound Show, the second largest of its kind in the country.
If you need a disabled parking space, zones and gates are clearly identified – along with areas where you will find toilet facilities.
With more than 850 livestock entries received and a packed programme of entertainment planned, Honiton Show is the place to be this Thursday (August 1).
If you are a fan of Poldark or Games of Thrones, you won’t want to miss The Devil’s Horsemen – they have appeared in both.
Look out for Viperaerobatics. They are set to perform two spectacular flying displays in an iconic Pitts S2B Biplane.
Full details are available here.
Don’t forget, a shuttle bus will run to and from the show from 9am. Pick it up outside Lace Walk in the High Street.
