From Poldark to Honiton Show – The Devil’s Horsemen

They have performed with pop icons like Madonna, appeared in Poldark and graced the pages of some of the most prestigious publications in the world. Now the world-famous Devil’s Horsemen are galloping to Honiton.

You can see them recreate outstanding film stunts in the main ring at Honiton Show this Thursday.

A staple of big screen productions, their credits include performances in Les Miserables and movie roles alongside Angelina Jolie and Christian Bale, to name a few. They even have a connection to the Game of Thrones.

Run by the Naprous family for 50 years, The Devil’s Horsemen is a real family affair. The business provides authentic props, riders and horsemasters to film and television directors, as well as production companies and photographers.

When they are not working with the likes of Netflix and Disney, they manage to squeeze in live events – like Honiton Show.

At the Mid Devon Show yesterday (Saturday), The Devil’s Horsemen put on a breath-taking extravaganza of stunts, including a colourful medieval joust.

With more than 100 horses in their stables, one of the largest carriage collections in the world and highly trained riders, it is not hard to imagine why The Devil’s Horsemen have been featured in television adverts for Lloyds Bank and the pages of Vanity Fair.

Having mastered every equestrian discipline, they have fine-tuned the art of ‘performance’ when it comes to trick riding, racing, classical dressage and many more.

Honiton Show is taking place from 8am to 6pm at the showground. A shuttle bus will run from Lace Walk in High Street from 9am.
