Bumper crowd as Exmouth Town FC beat Exeter City XI at Southern Road

Exmouth Town FC were watched by just over 300 supporters as they made it four wins from four pre-season games with a 1-0 home win over an Exeter City XI.
The Grecians pitched up at Southern Road with a young side and they served up some neat passing football from start to finish.
The only goal of the game came in the second half when Ace High was pulled back by Cheick Diabate and, after the City youngster had been shown a red card, Adam Billcock rifled the free-kick home.
Before kick-off all present took part in a minute’s applause for Frank Delling who recently passed away.
Frank had been a real character on the local football scene and had played in a veterans match at St James Park to celebrate his 80th birthday.
Town are next in pre-season action on Saturday (July 27) when they entertain Bodmin Town at Southern Road (3pm).
