Bride and groom loan wedding marquee to young farmers for fundraising event

Young farmers are to stage a fundraising cream tea in a marquee loaned by a bride and groom – and you are invited.
The event promises to be a great afternoon out for all family and will feature rounders, skittles and a raffle as well as the cream tea.
Organised by members of Yarcombe Young Farmers’ Club and Axminster Young Farmers’ Club, the fundraiser is taking place by kind permission of the Bright family at Springhead Road in Uplyme at 2pm on Sunday, August 4.
It will follow the wedding of Kelly and Andrew. Kelly is a member of the Yarcombe club and Andrew is a past member of the Axminster Club.
One of the causes set to benefit from the proceeds is the intensive care unit at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital where Kelly spent time following an accident.
It will also support the Farming Community Network, the Devon Air Ambulance and the Neonatal Emergency Stabilization Team (NEST) which helped a member of the Yarcombe club transport their newborn baby to the correct hospital.
The event will be signposted from the A35.
