Donkey Sanctuary gears up for car show

More than 500 vehicles are scheduled to attend The Donkey Sanctuary Car Show this weekend.

Vintage, classic and modified cars will be on display from 10am to 3pm on July 7. So many car owners have signed up to take part, no new entries can be accepted.

Other attractions will include live music from Amy Winehouse tribute act My Winehouse and local band Static Charge,.

For younger visitors, there will be go-karts and a bouncy castle. Trade stands and local food will also be features of the event.

Admission is £3.50 per adult and free for children under 12. Dogs are welcome on leads and parking is free.

The show is taking place in a field across the road from the sanctuary. All proceeds will support the donkey sanctuary’s work.
