The Thelma Hulbert Gallery in Honiton is preparing to stage a highlight in its calendar – an exhibition featuring the winner of the Evolver Prize 2019.
Also on display will be work by 49 runners-up.
The Evolver Prize is open to artists, photographers and designers, and the winning entry is featured on the cover of Evolver magazine’s July/August edition. The publication is the leading Wessex Arts and Culture Guide and the competition offers £1,000 in prize money.
This year’s selection panel comprised Simon Barber (Editor of Evolver), Adrian Boot (Photographer), Ruth Gooding (Manager/Curator, Thelma Hulbert Gallery) and Dr Fran Norton (Artist/Educator).
The exhibition will run from July 6 to August 31. While the event is being prepared, the gallery’s main exhibition space is closed.
