A deceased female was located close to Yawl Cross, near Hunter’s Lodge, on Friday, June 21.
Emergency services attended after being alerted by members of the public at around 11.50am.
Devon and Cornwall Police said in a statement: “The family of 48-year-old Karen Wyatt, who was missing from Axminster, have been informed of this development.
“This death is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
