Sidmouth Town Football Club’s 2019/20 South West Peninsula League Premier Division East fixtures unveiled

Sidmouth Town Football Club will begin their new life in the South West Peninsula League Premier Division East with an August 10 match at Torpoint Athletic.

The game across the River Tamar from Plymouth will see the Vikings start a 38-match season in the new division.

With Budleigh Salterton not applying to go up, it means that the East Devon derby matches for the Vikings in the coming season will be against Honiton Town and Axminster Town.

The first of the derby games for Town will be their very first home game – a Wednesday, August 14, Manstone Lane meeting with Axminster Town and the Vikings will make the return trip across East Devon to Tiger Way on Saturday, January 25.

The two matches with Honiton Town will take place at Manstone Lane next Good Friday, April 10, and the pair will meet in the festive fixture with Mountbatten Park staging the game on Boxing Day.
