Summer splashdown! Fun water parks open in Exeter

The Splash Pad at St Thomas Pleasure Ground and paddling pools at Heavitree Pleasure Ground open for the summer

Fun water parks are sure to make a big splash with youngsters in Exeter this summer.

Kids can stay cool at a pair of attractions thanks to the city council – and all that’s needed now is some scorching weather.

The Splash Pad at St Thomas Pleasure Ground opened on May 17.

Paddling pools at Heavitree Pleasure Ground opened on may 18.

Both Exeter water parks will be open from 9am to 7pm for the rest of the summer.

“All that’s needed now is a good spell of sunny weather like last summer, when thousands of youngsters had a splashing good time,” said a spokesperson for Exeter City Council.
